Little People Child Care‚Äč

Quick Overview

Little People Child Care is an owner operated early education centre located in Glenmore Park, NSW. We offer care and education to 23 children per day of ages ranging from six weeks to school age. Our hours of operation are from 7.00am-6.00pm, Monday to Friday, 50 weeks of the year. Little People Child Care is closed on all NSW public holidays.

The centre has been operated by the same owner since it opened in July 2001. Michelle is a passionate Early Childhood Educator who has spent 30 years in the industry. Her aim for Little People has always been to create an environment where children and families feel safe, supported and secure. A place where each child is allowed to grow and develop at their own pace and where it feels like an extension of home for the children with a great sense of community for all families.

Little People Child Care follows the Early Years Learning Framework throughout our programs and the daily routines of the service.

Being is allowing the children to be in the present. To concentrate on the here and now. It allows them time to investigate environments and experiences.

Belonging is integral to a child's sense of self. It acknowledges belonging to a family, community and culture. It is the foundation of relationships and acceptance.

Becoming acknowledges change. There is no time in one's life that has more rapid change than in the early years of childhood. It recognises the skills that are necessary to thrive through change.
